Version 2026-07-15 · pricing version 2026-07-12
These terms are an agreement between you and TRI1 Space Technologies Inc., a company incorporated in Canada ("TRI1", "we"), operator of TRI1 Space. By creating an identity, buying credits, or using our API, you agree to them. Plain language is intentional; where a term is defined below, that is what it means.
The short version.
Your keys are yours: we cannot read your messages and cannot recover your account.
Credits are prepaid service units, not money, and cannot be sent to other people.
We never touch the money in a Pay Request; you settle that yourselves, elsewhere.
We do not move money between people. We are not a bank or a payment service.
We provide self-sovereign identity, end-to-end encrypted messaging and calls, developer APIs, and AI agent infrastructure.
Your private keys are generated and stored on your device. We never receive them. This means we cannot read your encrypted messages, and it also means that if you lose your identity backup, we cannot restore your account or your message history. Nobody can. Please keep your backup safe.
You are responsible for your device, your identity backup, and anything done with your keys or API keys. Tell us promptly if you believe a key has been compromised so we can revoke it, though we cannot undo actions already taken with it.
You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live, and you may not use TRI1 Space if we are barred from providing it to you under applicable law.
Credit purchases are real card payments in Canadian dollars. Card payments are processed by Stripe, an independent third-party payment processor, under Stripe's own terms and privacy policy. Your card details go to Stripe, not to us: we never see or store your full card number. We receive only the result of the payment and the limited details we need to issue your credits and answer billing questions.
You can ask us to refund unspent purchased credits through the in-app support channel. Spent credits and promotional credits are not refundable.
If a payment is refunded or charged back, we remove the credits it bought. If those credits were already spent, your account may be restricted until the balance is settled. Do not use a chargeback in place of asking us for a refund; contact us first and we will try to sort it out.
TRI1 does not offer person-to-person money transfer, currency exchange, remittance, deposits, or withdrawals. We are not a bank, money transmitter, or payment institution. Custodial wallet features that appear in test environments use sandbox money only and are not available in production.
Do not use TRI1 Space to break the law, to infringe others' rights, to harass or abuse people, or to distribute malware. Do not attempt to bypass our security, authentication, rate limits, or metering. Do not use our agent infrastructure to deceive a person about whether they are talking to an AI.
Encryption means we cannot police content, so this section rests largely on you. Where we can act on a credible report or a legal obligation, we will.
API keys belong to your developer account and are your responsibility. Usage is metered and rate-limited. We record request metadata (which endpoint, when, how much it cost) so we can bill and operate the service. We never record message bodies or key material. We may suspend keys that threaten the platform or other users.
We store what we need to run the service: public identity metadata, encrypted payloads we cannot read, and service records such as usage and purchases. We never receive your private keys or your decrypted messages. A full privacy policy will be published alongside the final version of these terms.
TRI1 Space is provided "as is" and, during this pilot, without any guaranteed uptime. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for unspent purchased credits. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud.
You may stop using TRI1 Space at any time. You may request a refund of unspent purchased credits under section 4.
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, or where we must to comply with the law. If we close your account and you have not breached these terms, we will refund your unspent purchased credits. Because we cannot recover your keys, closing an account does not delete content encrypted on your own devices.
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced in-app before they take effect. Continuing to use TRI1 Space after that means you accept the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. The courts of Alberta have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute. This does not take away consumer protection rights you have where you live, and does not stop you from bringing a claim in your local courts where the law gives you that right.
Questions, refunds, and key-compromise reports: use the in-app support channel or email [email protected].
