Wherever you are, on whatever connection you can find, TRI1 encrypts it end to end on your own device. No number, no SIM, no email, and no one in the middle. Not even us.
TRI1 is end-to-end encrypted messaging, calls, and payments where your keys and conversations never leave your device. No phone number. No email. No one reading over your shoulder, not even us.
Every messenger is free. Most are free because you are what is sold. Why TRI1 is different →

Your identity and your messages live only on this phone. Switching to a different build of TRI1 means uninstalling the one you have, and that erases them. Nobody can bring them back, not even us. That is the point of TRI1, and it is why this step matters.
Do this every time you switch. The Google Play version and this download are signed with different keys, so Android treats them as two separate apps. You can have one or the other, never both.
New to TRI1? None of this applies, just download and open it.
No number. No SIM. No email. Just an identity your phone creates, keeps, and could never hand over.
33 seconds, with sound. Nothing is downloaded until you press play.
Same app, same encryption, same identity, whichever route you take. You never need an app store. Only one of these three involves one, and it is optional. On iPhone, or anywhere else, open the web app and there is nothing to install at all.
Any Android 8 or newer
The full app as a signed .apk, straight from us. No Google account, no store, no phone number. Your phone will ask you to allow installing from this browser once, which is normal for apps that do not come from a store.
Every release is signed with the same key, and you can check it yourself under Verify your download.
If you prefer the Play Store
TRI1 is live on Google Play and open to everyone. No tester list, no invitation, no email to us.
The Play copy is a slightly older release than the .apk above, because store review takes a few days. An updated version is on the way next week. If you want the newest build today, use the direct download.
Pick one and stay with it: Play and this .apk cannot update over each other. Export your identity backup before you ever switch.
iOS 16.4 or newer
The iPhone app is in open beta through TestFlight, Apple’s own testing app, while the App Store listing is in review. Anyone can join, and there is no invitation to wait for.
Opening the link on a computer only shows the TestFlight page. It has to be the iPhone. Beta builds expire after 90 days and TestFlight will prompt you to update.
Any browser, any device
Open TRI1 in a browser and use it straight away. Nothing to download, nothing to allow, and it works on a laptop, an iPad, or a phone of any kind.
Messages and calls are encrypted in the browser exactly as they are in the app, and your keys stay in that browser.
Best for trying TRI1 in a minute. For calls that ring while the app is closed, install the phone app instead.
GrapheneOS · CalyxOS · LineageOS · /e/OS
Use the same .apk as the direct download. There is nothing Google-specific in the install, so it works on a phone with no Play Services and no Google account at all.
Identical file to the direct download, same signature.
Real video calls, private 1:1 chats, and your own identity, on your phone and on the web.

Add contacts by their TRI1 ID, see who's online, and start a call or chat in a tap. Nothing to verify, nothing to confirm, no forms at all.
Get the appInstalls straight from this page. No store, no Google account, nothing to sign up for.

Every TRI1 build is signed with our private release key. Android checks that signature automatically when you install. If a single byte is altered, the install is rejected. You can also verify it yourself:

Or grab the checksum file. Most "secure" apps still tie you to a phone number, keep your keys on their servers, and can read your metadata. TRI1 was designed from zero so none of that is even possible.
Your account is a keypair generated on your device, not a phone number you rent from a carrier or an email you can lose. Sign up in seconds, own it forever.
Encryption keys and message history live only on your phone. Our servers only ever relay ciphertext they physically cannot decrypt. Zero-knowledge by architecture.
End-to-end encrypted messaging, voice & video calls, and a prepaid-credits wallet, unified under a single self-custodial identity. No other app puts all three behind keys you control.

Text, photos, and voice notes, all sealed with a lock only you and your contact hold. A small padlock on every bubble proves it, and read receipts stay under your control.
Get the appOnly your public identity is ever shared, and only with contacts you add. Private keys, backups, and history stay on-device, we couldn't hand them over if we tried.
Nothing to leak, SIM-swap, or subpoena. You're a cryptographic identity, not a row in a phone-number database.
Full-screen incoming calls that wake a locked phone via secure push. Real voice & video calls, encrypted end to end.
Instant screenshot alerts tell you the moment someone captures a conversation. What's private stays accountable.
The moment someone saves you as a contact, you are notified, end to end. No silent one-sided adds, and the server never sees who added whom.
Reply, forward, star, pin, edit, and delete, for you or for everyone, all inside the encrypted envelope.
Send and request value with the same identity that secures your chats, no bank details exposed, card handling stays with the processor.
No central account to seize or switch off. Your identity is a keypair you hold, and TRI1 only ever relays ciphertext it cannot read.
Your calls and messages cost you nothing, with no ads and nothing sold about you. TRI1 is funded by developers who build on our API and pay for what they use, so the people using the app never have to.

Crystal-clear encrypted voice and video. Mute, flip the camera, or switch to Bluetooth in a tap, and every second stays end to end encrypted.
Try it on the web
Start an encrypted video call in a tap and see every smile in crystal-clear quality. No meeting links, no accounts to add, just your TRI1 ID and a private, secure connection.
Get the appTRI1 doesn't bolt privacy on afterward. From the first line of code it's engineered on the core principles behind the world's leading privacy and security frameworks, data minimization, end-to-end encryption, and total user control. These protections are on by default, not an optional setting you have to go find. This is what private-by-design actually looks like, a genuinely new kind of communication app.
Data minimization (no phone number or email required), no selling of personal data, and a genuine right to erasure, because content is end-to-end encrypted, there's almost nothing to hold in the first place.
Strong cryptography in transit and at rest, on-device key management, least-privilege access, and secure-by-default configuration mirror the ISMS controls organizations rely on.
Identify, Protect, Detect: end-to-end encryption, integrity-checked message IDs, and health telemetry that carries metadata only, never content, keys, or payloads.
Minimal attack surface, encrypted data, and hardened defaults. We collect the least we can, protect what little remains, and expose nothing we don't need to.
TRI1 is engineered to support your compliance obligations and is aligned with the principles of GDPR, ISO/IEC 27001, NIST, and CIS. There is no phone number, no email, no SIM and no username to reserve. Your account is a keypair created on your own device, and the public half of it is your TRI1 ID. Share that ID as text, or let someone scan your QR code, and you are connected. Encrypted messages, encrypted voice and video calls, group rooms and your business page all sit behind that one identity.
Send your TRI1 ID in any app, or show your QR code and let them scan it in person. No contact upload, no phone number lookup, and no directory of users for anyone to find you in.
TRI1 works on a phone with no SIM, on a wifi-only tablet, and in any browser. Nothing is tied to a number you rent from a carrier or an inbox you can lose access to.
Every account gets a free business page with its own QR code and short link, so customers reach you on an encrypted channel without ever seeing a phone number.
No app store, no phone number, no subscription. Here is exactly how that works.
Yes. TRI1 is free to download and use. Encrypted messaging, voice and video calls, and group rooms are free, with no ads and no subscription, and every account includes one free business page. The paid side of TRI1 is the developer API, billed by usage.
No. TRI1 does not require any app store. On Android you can install the signed .apk directly from tri1space.com/download, with no Google account and no Play Store, and it works on de-Googled systems such as GrapheneOS, CalyxOS, LineageOS and /e/OS. On iPhone, TRI1 is in open beta through TestFlight, and the web app at app.tri1space.com runs in any browser with nothing to install. TRI1 is on Google Play too, so you can install it whichever way you prefer.
Yes. End-to-end encrypted voice and video calls, one to one and in group rooms, are free, with no ads, no subscription and no per-minute charge. Encrypted messaging is free too, and every account includes one free business page. The paid side of TRI1 is the developer API, billed by usage.

Yes. Your chats and calls are end-to-end encrypted and your private keys never leave your device, so TRI1 cannot read your messages. It is built aligned with the principles of GDPR, ISO/IEC 27001, NIST and CIS.
Android 8.0 or newer. The download is a universal .apk that works on all common phones.
Download the .apk from tri1space.com/download, open the file, allow installation from this source when Android asks, then tap Install and open TRI1.
It is, as an invite-only test release while the store listing is in review, and you never need it. TRI1 installs directly from tri1space.com as a signed .apk with no Google account and no app store, and the web app runs in any browser. If you would rather install from Play, email [email protected] to be added to the tester list.
They add you by your TRI1 ID or by scanning your QR code. Your TRI1 ID is the public half of a keypair your phone creates the first time you open the app. You can send it in any app or show the QR code in person. Nobody can look you up by phone number or email, because TRI1 never asks for either.
A TRI1 ID is your public key written in a form you can share. It is safe to post anywhere. It lets people start an end to end encrypted chat or call with you, and it is the only thing you ever hand out. The private half never leaves your device, so nobody, including us, can use your ID to read your messages.
Yes. Open My TRI1 ID, show your QR code, and the other person scans it in the app to add you instantly. It is the fastest way to swap contacts in person, at an event or across a counter, with no numbers exchanged.
Yes. TRI1 needs an internet connection and nothing else. It runs on a phone with no SIM, on a wifi-only tablet, and in any browser at app.tri1space.com. There is no SMS code to receive, so there is no number to trace, port or SIM swap.
All three ask for a phone number before you can send a single message, so your identity is tied to a SIM you rent and can lose. TRI1 never asks. Your account is a keypair created on your device, you connect by TRI1 ID or QR code, and your private keys never leave the phone. Encrypted messaging, encrypted voice and video calls, group rooms and a free business page all sit behind that one identity.
Yes. Open app.tri1space.com in any browser on Windows, macOS, Linux or ChromeOS. There is nothing to install, and encrypted messages and calls work the same way as on the phone.
